My standard turnaround is two business days. For jobs with audio, my turnaround is four business days. If you need a job back sooner than this, then it is considered rush. If you need a job back the same day, it is considered a daily.
I charge extra for expert witnesses or transcripts full of technical and medical terminology because I spend a lot more time doing research on these to assure all the terms are correct.
I am happy to listen to the recording of a deposition and read through to correct wrong words or add in any missed words.
For example, if you need a doctor's expert deposition back the same day, the rate would be $0.80/page.
While I do bill per page, I also take time into consideration. Therefore, I reserve the right to bill a higher page rate for dirty work that causes me to take a higher-than-average time on your job vs. the average, carefully edited job.
If you need an item proofed and returned to you sooner than two days, please let me know ASAP. Do not wait until it is done to notify me. Check and see if I am able to read it FIRST so I can plan for it as necessary. If it is longer than 50 pages, I would request that you send it to me in “chunks” so as you’re working on a portion, I can be working on a portion as well. This also goes for large standard jobs. I greatly appreciate getting a heads up, so I can prepare and make time for it. It can be hectic for me to receive a 400-page job all at once that's due in two days with no notice! If you keep me in the loop about what jobs you would like to send me, it means the whole process will go much smoother and I will be able get your jobs back sooner.
