Zoë Biehl
Proofreading
Meet your new proofreader!
Hello! I'm Zoë Biehl. I’m a freelance proofreader specializing in court transcripts. I currently live in beautiful western Massachusetts, though I work with clients around the nation. (Contact me if you would like references.)
I received a BA in Anthropology and Sociology from Green Mountain College in Vermont. That's me in the photo trekking in the Himalayas of Nepal while conducting ethnographic research. As a part of my studies, I have conducted research in my chosen fields, and written numerous papers and theses in support of my research.
In preparation for my career in advanced proofreading, I received rigorous training in a unique and intensive program called “Transcript Proofreading: Theory and Practice.” (View the syllabus here.)
I have always been an avid reader and writer. I find great satisfaction in navigating the labyrinth that is the English language, and I love to help others find their way through the maze, too.
When I am not proofreading, I enjoy travel, making music, painting, and creating jewelry from clay and stones.
